Born and raised as an “east-sider” in Cincinnati, Ohio, Amy continued to stay in the area for college at the University of Cincinnati and for her 32-year career as a statistician at Procter & Gamble in the Mason area. She’s been married for 20 years to Mark Altemeier and is a mom to Jaci and Dylan. Amy is very relational and has always cared about the people around her. She loved working on many teams at P&G, being room mom over her kid’s school years, and now as a business owner with her husband, she continues to look for ways to reach out to people and give back to the community. Their Monkey Bar & Grille is more than just a bar and restaurant. It’s an avenue to get to know the community, provide jobs and entertainment, get to be a part of many fundraisers, and even be the home of Church at the Bar. She plans to bring this same sense of community to their new Loveland venture. The Altemeier Foundation was created for the community to join her in spreading the joy!

Chad grew up in a small farming community in East-Central Illinois. He attended the Brocton Christian church where his father and grandfather both served as elders, showing Chad that serving others is a lifelong mission. Chad found a job, and his wife Tish, in Lexington, KY from whom he learned the joy of southern cooking and a love of horses. Chad’s job at PTC as a Senior Director of Technical Sales moved them to Cincinnati, where they now reside. Chad and Tish are blessed with two daughters, Hannah, and Olivia. They kept their parents busy on both travel dance and lacrosse teams. Chad has volunteered in local churches in various roles, serving as elder, board president and leading adult bible studies. Skills learned from those positions allows him to function as one of the weekend speakers at the Church at the (Monkey) Bar and as the president of the Altemeier Foundation. Aside from his family, Chad’s passions include watching the Cubs and Bears, biking (both pedaling and twisting a throttle on his Harley), and hiking and kayaking with Tish and their German Shepherd, Kimber.
I moved from Brazil to the US, thriving in roles from water filter sales to ministry to, most recently, The Monkey Bar & Grille operations manager. I've always been driven by a heart for the community. Through ministry, I've served communities globally in eighteen countries and now bring that same spirit to The Altemeier Foundation. As a husband and father of two boys, I enjoy simple moments with my family and our beloved pets. I'm excited to continue positively impacting with a global mindset and local impact.
