“It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”
— Mother Teresa

Frankfort's Green Hill Cemetery, established in 1865, is home to Kentucky's only monument honoring the nearly 25,000 Kentuckians who served in the United States Colored Troops (USCT) during the Civil War. Sponsored by Freddie’s Historical Restoration Project and Freddie’s Old-Fashioned Sodas, the restoration of Green Hill Cemetery represents a major step forward in preserving one of Kentucky’s most significant historic sites. While the cemetery is a place of reverence, much of its history remains hidden beneath the surface.

In July 2024, a team of archaeologists and geophysicists completed an exhaustive, non-invasive investigation of Green Hill Cemetery. The results of the high-tech "deep dive" revealed a much more populated cemetery than previously understood. The new analysis identified a total of 5,627 signatures consistent with burials—thousands more than shown on records.

Joshua’s Place exist to help individuals and families overcome the barriers in their lives that cause instability. We look first at what our community and the individuals we serve have to offer versus just what they lack. We believe every person is an image bearer of God and therefore has tremendous value and worth.
Join our team of dedicated volunteers and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether it's serving meals at a homeless shelter or mentoring a child in need, there are many ways to get involved and give back.
We are Butch and DW Williams, called by God to lead a heartfelt ministry dedicated to serving the homeless in the Cincinnati area, particularly along the I-75 corridor from Sharonville to downtown Cincinnati.
Our mission is focused on uplifting those who find themselves at the lowest points in life—the forgotten, the lost, and the least of these living in the wilderness and guiding them toward the light of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Many of the individuals we serve struggle just to get by each day. Our goal is to lead them from the darkness of addiction into the hope and salvation that only Jesus can provide, offering them a path they simply cannot resist.
